The Seattle Seahawks play their preseason finale on Friday versus the Kansas City Chiefs. It gives general manager John Schneider one final opportunity to assess all of his players before submitting his initial 53-man roster later this weekend. There are several Seahawks who need to take advantage of the opportunity.
We've identified two in particular.
Noah Igbinoghene, CB
Former first-round cornerback Noah Igbinoghene has been fairly solid throughout training camp. He's been firmly in the mix for the CB3 spot, which has been a position that has worried the Seahawks this offseason. Nehemiah Pritchett opened camp as the favorite to claim that position, but the Seahawks have since signed Trevon Diggs, and they've tried to sign Terrion Arnold, too. Igbinoghene is under
increased pressure as a result, and a strong preseason finale could help him solidify his positioning on the 53-man roster.
Montorie Foster Jr., WR
The season-ending ACL injury for Jake Bobo has changed things at wide receiver. It certainly increased the chances that Hard Knocks star Montorie Foster Jr. makes the 53-man roster. Foster has consistently taken advantage of his opportunities at camp and during the preseason. An exciting preseason finale would provide him with needed momentum heading into roster cuts.
