The Seattle Seahawks will host the New England Patriots at Lumen Field on Wednesday in a Super Bowl LX rematch in Week 1. One Patriots playmaker may not play. Running back TreVeyon Henderson is missing practice with an ankle injury, according to various reports.

Henderson suffered the injury during an August 24th practice. The former Ohio State standout has not practiced since. The sophomore back is trending towards missing Wednesday's opener versus the Seahawks.
Henderson rushed for a team-high 911 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie. The
38th overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft appeared in every game for the Patriots as a rookie, playoffs included. So Henderson is unaccustomed to dealing with injury-related adversity at the NFL level.
The Seahawks' defense did an excellent job shutting Henderson down in Super Bowl LX. The speedy back only rushed for 19 yards via six carries, averaging 3.2 yards per carry. Henderson added three receptions for 26 additional yards to his offensive totals.
If Henderson doesn't play, Rhamondre Stevenson will be the Patriots' No. 1 back versus the Seahawks. Cory Kiner is also on the 53-man roster. Lan Larison or Hassan Haskins would likely be elevated from the practice squad.
