The Seattle Seahawks are taking on the Chicago Bears tonight for a "Mondy Night Football" clash of the ages. The NFL saved best for last, as this is easily the most intriguing matchup of Week 8. Seattle's Dark Side defense will have to work wonders once more to slow down Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams leading an explosive Bears offense. Can they do it?
We at Seahawks Wire give you our official picks and predictions for the Seahawks vs Bears game tonight. We also provide betting odds for those interested.

Seahawks vs Bears predictions, picks for NFL Week 8

Seahawks 23, Bears 20: The Chess match of the season... Mike Macdonald's defense vs Ben Johnson's offense. Chicago has had extra time to prepare for this matchup,
having last played on TNF to begin Week 7. Seattle has not allowed a quarterback to throw for over 189 yards passing at any point this season, and I suspect tonight will be the moment that stat breaks. But just because a quarterback throws for more than barely under 200 yards doesn't mean I think their offense will run roughshod over the Seahawks. Caleb Williams' mobility could prove to be difficult to bring down, but I still believe in the power of the Dark Side and Macdonald's unit will ultimately prevail. Seattle has uniquely prepared for the Bears' star trade acquisition in Jeffery Simmons by getting former Colts left guard Quenton Nelson themselves. While I do think it may be a few weeks before Seattle's reshuffled offensive line will be clicking fully, I believe they have enough to negate Chicago's pass rush, at least a little to keep Sam Darnold in rhythm. A revamped Seahawks ground attack keeps Ben Johnson's unit on the sideline more than they'd like and it will be enough to narrowly defend home turf under the lights of prime time. Besides, the Seahawks have the best MNF record in NFL history. Monday night is Seattle's night and I'm not picking against them in this spot.

Seahawks 37, Bears 33: the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears will play an instant thriller on "Monday Night Football." Seattle will get a legendary performance from Sam Darnold to completely re-write the narrative on his 2026 season.

Seahawks 31, Bears 17: D'Andre Swift fumbles early and Chicago's offense struggles to find footing. Seattle's play-action and run game get going early thanks to Quenton Nelson, forcing Chicago to cover JSN with sinlge coverage, opening Pandora's Box for Brian Fleury to be creative.

Seahawks 27, Bears 24: Caleb Williams has a strong game against the Seahawks, but ultimately, Seattle's front four applies enough pressure to cause disruption at the right times. Sam Darnold will find his talented receivers more bountifully than in any other game this season to lead Seattle to victory.
