Despite not playing a full quarter together until today, the quarterback and receiver duo of Sam Darnold and Smith-Njigba have picked their uncanny chemistry from last season right back up today. No matter where the “best wide receiver” debate goes from here, Smith-Njigba is the best one for Darnold's gunslinger style by a country mile.
The game was still tied at 24 apiece until Commanders kicker Drew Stevens just drilled another field goal. It's now 27-24 Washington with just five minutes to play in the fourth
quarter. Seattle is defending a franchise-record 12 game unbeaten streak that dates back to Week 10 of last season.
