The Seattle Seahawks have several franchise greats that will be eligible for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2027.
Among the most notable greats that have a chance to enter the Hall are Shaun Alexander, Earl Thomas III, Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor and former Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren.
Alexander won the AP NFL MVP award in 2005. He led the NFL in rushing yards that season with 1,880. Alexander also led the league in rushing touchdowns twice.
Thomas helped the Seahawks win the Super Bowl at the end of the 2013 season. He was named an All-Pro honoree five times across his nine year career with the team.
Lynch played six seasons for the Seahawks from 2010-15. The Oakland native led the league in rushing touchdowns
from 2013-14 and rushed for over 1,000 yards four times in Seattle. Lynch was a two-time All-Pro honoree with the team and was also a part of the 2013 Super Bowl-winning team.
Sherman played for the Seahawks from 2011-17. He led the league in interceptions in 2013 with eight. Sherman, a four-time All-Pro honoree during his time in Seattle, hoisted the Vince Lombardi Trophy with Thomas and Lynch at the end of the 2013 season.
Chancellor was the third of four members of the Seahawks’ “Legion of Boom” secondary next to Thomas and Sherman. He too won the Super Bowl with the Seahawks in the 2013 season and was one of the best safeties of his era.
Holmgren led the Seahawks to seven winning seasons in his 10 years with the team from 1999-2008. He also led the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl victory in the 1996 season.
