The Seattle Seahawks are 2-1 on the year following their first loss of the season last weekend. They will look to bounce back at home against the 0-3 Los Angeles Chargers. Seattle needs to claim victory in Week 4 to keep pace with the currently undefeated, division-leading San Francisco 49ers... a team the Seahawks will face in Week 5.
But first things first, as Seattle needs to take care of business at home in the here and now. On Friday afternoon, the Seahawks (fittingly) announced four captains for NFL Week 4.
Seattle does not pick year long captains like most teams. Instead, the Seahawks select new captains each week. For this coming game, the captains will be:
- CB Nehemiah Pritchett
- LB Uchenna Nwosu
- DE Mike Morris
- WR Cooper Kupp
Also fittingly, Uchenna Nwosu is a captain to face his former team. Given how early
it is in the season, we haven't had any repeat captains as of yet. Here are the previous two weeks' captains:
Week 3 Captains:
- TE AJ Barner
- LB Patrick O'Connell
- CB Devon Witherspoon
Week 2 Captains:
- S Julian Love
- C Jalen Sundell
- P Michael Dickson
- LB Drake Thomas
Week 1 Captains:
- QB Sam Darnold
- LB Ernest Jones IV
- FB Brady Russell
- DT Leonard Williams
