Seattle Seahawks superstar wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has delivered an extraordinary run of production since the start of the 2025 NFL season, and his numbers have been so gargantuan that they’ve exceeded that of several teams’ entire wide receiver rooms in that time.
According to BetMGM, Smith-Njigba has recorded more receiving yards and touchdowns than the Miami Dolphins’, New York Jets’, Las Vegas Raiders’ and Cleveland Browns’ entire wide receiver rooms dating back to the start of last season.
Smith-Njigba has accumulated 2,660 receiving yards and 18 REC touchdowns in that span, surpassing Miami’s 2,602 REC yards and 15 REC TDs, New York’s 2,585 yards and 16 TDs, Las Vegas’ 2,461 yards and 15 TDs and Cleveland’s 2,423 yards and seven
TDs. JSN has outproduced each group individually, which highlights his remarkable consistency and importance to Seattle’s offense.
Smith-Njigba recorded 1,793 receiving yards in 2025, and won the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year award as a result. He has recorded 867 receiving yards thus far this season, continuing his exceptional production into the current year.
The feat is particularly impressive given the fact that the Dolphins and Jets have both had elite wide receivers on their teams for most or all of the stretch of time under the microscope. Miami had Jaylen Waddle last season, while the Jets have had Garrett Wilson leading there receiving unit throughout the entire stretch of time. Both receivers have established themselves as perennial 1,000-yard threats, making Smith-Njigba’s accomplishment in surpassing those receiving corps even more remarkable.
