Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price has emerged as one of the early favorites to win the 2026 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
At the time of this article’s publishing, DraftKings Sportsbook has given Price the second-best odds to win this year’s OPOY award at +600.

rookie running back Jeremiyah Love (+370) is the only rookie with better odds than Price to win the award.Through two games, Price has recorded 104 rushing yards on 23 carries while adding three receptions for 14 yards. He has yet to score a touchdown and has lost one fumble on the year. He’s had 52 rushing yards in each of the first two games of the year, though he had his highest receiving yards output of eight yards in Seattle’s Week 2 win against
the Arizona Cardinals.
Price is currently dealing with an upper-body injury that adds uncertainty to his award outlook at the present. Even a short absence or a reduction in his workload may jeopardize his standing in the race, especially if other rookies around the league post big performances in the short-term. A quick recovery will allow Price to maintain his place near the front of the race.
The season remains young, and the Offensive Rookie of the Year award race is liable to change quickly as players develop and injuries reshape opportunities. Still, Price has made an immediate impression in Seattle’s offense through two weeks.
If he remains healthy, continues to earn touches and produces more explosive plays, Price will have a strong chance to remain among the award’s leading candidates.
