The cavalry is on its way for the Seattle Seahawks. Earlier this week, it became clear that running back Zach Charbonnet would be making his 2026 debut
when he did not carry an injury designation headed into the weekend. Fellow running back Jadarian Price also did not carry an injury designation, but it was unclear if he too would be coming back to action. Price had been on injured reserve since Week 7. Now we know what Seattle's plans are.On Monday afternoon, the Seahawks officially activated Jadarian Price from injured reserve. In order to make room for Price on the 53-man roster, running back Robert Henry Jr. was waived. Henry had not appeared in a single game for the Seahawks since the team signed him in early October.
Price has rushed for
119 yards on 28 carries in three games this season.
Seattle's ground attack will now get a chance to run behind a revamped offensive line that now features left guard Quenton Nelson. I thought for sure the Seahawks would wait a week before activating Price, as they would spend the time getting Charbonnet back up to speed with Emanuel Wilson taking the lion's share of the carries. But the team must clearly feel Price is ready to go. Price had been dealing with a shoulder injury, so he would still be keeping his legs conditioned for his return.
As for other roster transactions, wide receiver Montorie Foster Jr. and tackle Bobby Hart were elevated from the practice squad.
