Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price has been fully cleared to play in Sunday’s Week 3 game against the Washington Commanders, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson, as he’s dealt with a chest injury that he sustained in Week 2.
Price left Seattle’s Week 2 win over the Arizona Cardinals after sustaining a chest injury late in the game. The injury was later described as being in the shoulder area, but follow-up testing produced no significant concerns. Price returned to practice on a limited basis before advancing to full participation on Friday, clearing the way for his Week 3 availability.
Through two games, Price has recorded 23 carries for 104 yards, averaging 4.5 yards per attempt with no rushing touchdowns. He has added three receptions
for 14 yards and has also lost one fumble on the year.
Price’s return will reduce the workload placed on Emanuel Wilson, who took on a larger role after Price departed against Arizona. George Holani also figures to remain part of the rotation, providing depth and situational work. Sam Darnold being cleared to play in Week 3 gives Seattle its starting quarterback back under center, along with its go-to running back for the matchup.
