The Seattle Seahawks have officially wrapped up training camp. General manager John Schneider is now tasked with submitting his initial 53-man roster by the end of the weekend. Preparations for the Week 1 matchup versus the New England Patriots have begun.
With camp now in our rearview mirror, we've identified three Seahawks players who took complete advantage of the opportunity.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR
The reigning Offensive Player of the Year has been as advertised. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, like his teammates on offense, has spent the offseason familiarizing himself with new offensive coordinator Brian Fleury's offense. JSN has been occasionally dominant at camp and joint practices. Smith-Njigba appears poised for another big-time season.
Derick Hall, EDGE
Pass rusher Derick Hall earned himself
a lucrative contract extension for the Seahawks this offseason. His intensity has not wavered. Hall was seen getting in trouble from Mike Macdonald for getting too close to Sam Darnold on Episode Two of Hard Knocks. The Seahawks believe he'll have another breakout campaign in 2026.
Jadarian Price, RB
Rookie running back Jadarian Price was extremely impressive. The 32nd overall selection in the 2026 NFL draft missed a little practice time, but appears healthy and primed for Week 1. Price endeared himself to the coaching staff and should have a legitimate role in the backfield right away.
