The Seattle Seahawks released Wednesday's injury report ahead of Sunday's Week 3 game versus the Washington Commanders. There are some interesting notes at running back. Both Jadarian Price (chest) and George Holani (knee) are listed as limited participants.
It's encouraging to see Price partaking in a limited capacity on Wednesday after exiting Sunday's Week 2 victory over the Arizona Cardinals with the aforementioned chest issue. It was Emanuel Wilson who benefited. Wilson rushed for 92 yards via 21 carries and has been a popular fantasy football add this week.
The early indication is that Price and Wilson could form a tandem in the backfield versus the Commanders in Week 3. Price's first practice report strongly indicates he'll be available.
Probably at less than 100% however, Wilson should be heavily involved.
The Commanders will be without starting quarterback Jayden Daniels on Sunday, with Marcus Mariota starting in his place. Through two contests, the Commanders' run defense is allowing over 100 rushing yards per outing. This could be a game the Seahawks try controlling on the ground.
Wilson proved capable of handling a workload in Week 2. Price is still the Seahawks' most promising and talented ball carrier. The Commanders will likely see a healthy dose of both on Sunday.
