During the Seattle Seahawks' 32-29 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, there was a notable altercation between the players. In the second quarter, Sam Darnold was hit late running out of bounds by 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw. This happened on Seattle's sideline, and understandably, it ruffled the Seahawks' feathers seeing their quarterback take a cheap shot.
Well, Darnold wasn't the only one who took a cheap shot, as Greenlaw headbutted Seattle linebacker Ernest Jones IV. You can see the video footage here.

Actions have consequences. Dre Greenlaw was immediately ejected from the game. Now he is going to lose more than just two quarters of football.
On Monday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Greenlaw is being suspended one additional game, without pay, for his actions at Lumen Field. Greenlaw will now miss San Francisco's Week 6 home game against the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football.
Per the NFL: 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been suspended without pay for one game for an act of unsportsmanlike conduct during Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.

During the second quarter, Greenlaw used his helmet to headbutt Seattle linebacker Ernest Jones IV,…
Greenlaw is one of the best players on the 49ers' defense, and his loss will be felt. Unfortunately, this is what makes the loss to San Francisco even more frustrating for Seattle, as they could not figure out a way to win without him on the field. Especially on the final drive, when the Seahawks offense was stopped on downs, unable to even tie the game late.
