Which Seattle Seahawks undrafted rookie free agent has the best chance to make the 53-man roster for next season?
Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport named edge rusher Aidan Hubbard as the player who is best positioned to make the Seahawks roster among all the UDFAs at training camp this summer.
”The edge-rusher spot in Seattle this year is Demarcus Lawrence and a lot of uncertainty, giving Hubbard a real shot at making the roster for the Week 1 Super Bowl rematch with the Patriots,” Davenport said.
Hubbard was a standout at Northwestern in 2025. He recorded 7.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss last season with the Wildcats. Hubbard’s has continually been lauded as one of the Seahawks’ best UDFAs this offseason.
Training camp will present Hubbard with
the opportunity to vie for a serious role in the Seahawks’ rotation at edge rusher. Dante Fowler Jr. will be his main competition for the fourth role in the rotation.
