Seahawks reveal uniform combo for NFL Week 5 showdown vs 49ers

The Seattle Seahawks are about to embark on a brutal four-game stretch. First up will be the undefeated San Francisco 49ers coming to Seattle for an NFC West clash before a national audience. Given how absurdly competitive the NFC West is, it's not exactly an overstatement to suggest the outcome of this game could potentially alter the longerm trajectories of both teams for the remainder of the season... perhaps even playing factor in who gets home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

It may only be Week 5, but the stakes are that high already.

We obviously don't know the outcome yet, but we do know what these teams will be wearing when they take the field on Sunday afternoon. The Seahawks announced their uniform combo for Week 5, and they will be bringing

back a look for the second time this season. Seattle will once again pair the College Navy jerseys with their grey pants. This particular combo was worn most recently in Week 2, when the Seahawks dismantled the Arizona Cardinals 31-7 on the road.

Overall, Seattle is 10-7 all-time in this particular combo, which has become a fan favorite to some. Sunday will mark the third time the Seahawks have worn the navy/grey combo against the 49ers, and they are 1-1. Seattle won the first time with a wild 30-23 victory back in 2021, but lost in Week 1 last year 17-13.

On the other side, the 49ers will be wearing their classic away uniform of white jersey paired with gold pants. The only nice thing I will ever say about San Francisco is their normal away threads are some of the best uniforms in football, and I have no idea why they ever stray away from it.
