So this is probably not good news for ex-Lions CB Terrion Arnold: Another co-defendant in his case, Boakai Hilton, pleaded guilty in court today and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He is required to testify against Arnold as part of his plea agreement.

Arnold is facing eight felony charges after being arrested in connection with a robbery and kidnapping in Tampa, Florida, in February. Police say Arnold was the main conspirator. According to USA Today’s
Chris Bumbaca, he could face life in prison if convicted.
As anticipated, today’s court hearing clarified how the situation will play out. Arnold’s co-defendant Boakai Hilton pleaded guilty in court and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He is required to testify against Arnold as part of his plea agreement.
Arnold voluntarily turned himself in on June 24 and posted a $1 million bond. The Detroit Lions released him on June 29. He officially signed with the Seahawks on August 29 after a lengthy tryout and interview process. He had two visits with the team in early July and on August 9. They were expected to sign him on August 13 but waited for clarity on his availability. On August 18, the NFL ruled that he’d be placed on the NFL Commissioner’s Exempt List once signed. Eleven days later, the Seahawks made the signing official. He was subsequently placed on the list. He’s under contract with the organization but barred from attending practice, meetings, and any other team activities.
