Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has emerged from the preseason as a player in contention to be the best overall producer in fantasy football next season.
Bleacher Report ranked Smith-Njigba No. 3 overall
in their most recent fantasy football power rankings for PPR leagues, with his elite skills and special talent providing a strong foundation for him to have another dominant season in 2026.Smith-Njigba recorded 1,793 receiving yards and 10 REC touchdowns in 2025 on his way to AP Offensive Player of the Year honors. His league-leading receiving yardage established him as the focal point of Seattle’s passing attack and a top fantasy option all year long.
Looking ahead to next season, Rashid Shaheed’s expanded role in Seattle’s
offense likely will not be enough to pose a significant threat to Smith-Njigba having another truly dominant season in 2026. Shaheed adds a legitimate vertical threat and gives Seattle another explosive perimeter option, but his usage will complement JSN more rather than greatly take away from his targets. With Smith-Njigba entrenched as the offense’s primary receiver, he forecasts to be a superstar option in PPR leagues next season.
