Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Jadarian Price received a 55.1 grade from Pro Football Focus for his performance in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears. Returning to action after an extended absence, Price looked to provide a spark for Seattle's offensive backfield but had a down performance on the game.
Price recorded an underwhelming 10 carries for 29 yards, averaging 2.9 yards per attempt. He also hauled in two receptions on four targets for eight receiving yards, finishing with 37 total yards from scrimmage. His 10 rushing attempts demonstrated Seattle's willingness to get him involved following his return, but it did not materialize into enough production from him.
The Notre Dame product made his comeback after missing four consecutive
games due to a chest injury. The rookie's return provided Seattle’s offense with another option. He will now look to regaining his rhythm and establish a consistent role in the team’s offensive backfield moving forward.
Looking ahead, Price and the Seahawks will prepare for their Week 9 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals’ defense has allowed the 10th-most rushing yards to opponents in the league this season with 977. Price will look to build on his return and deliver a stronger performance in Week 9 in what will be a favorable matchup for him.
