Seattle Seahawks cornerback Trevon Diggs has a special battle to prepare for in 2026.
Diggs is set to face off against his brother and Washington Commanders wide receiver Stefon Diggs in Week 3 of the upcoming season, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, with the marquee matchup being a landmark occasion for both players.
Trevon Diggs has yet to face off against Stefon Diggs in his career to date. The Seahawks signed Diggs on Wednesday to provide depth at the cornerback position behind Devon Witherspoon and Josh Jobe. Earlier in the offseason, the Commanders struck a deal with Stefon Diggs, pairing him with star receiver Terry McLaurin in the team’s receiving game.
Both brothers will get their first opportunity to test their skills against
one another in the NFL next season, with both likely to be matched up against each other for at least a portion of the game.
The Seahawks have many primetime games and marquee matchups lined up on their schedule for next season. The Diggs brothers’ head-to-head duel adds to the list of exciting games that will take shape for Seattle in 2026.
