The 2025 NFL season was a learning experience for Seattle Seahawks left guard Grey Zabel.
As a guest on the Brock and Salk Show on Monday, Zabel reflected on the way in which last season taught him much once he began to hit his stride as a rookie.
“You’re learning something new every single day,” Zabel said. “And that was the greatest part about last year, was, well, instead of having 18 weeks of football, we had 21 weeks of football. And I got to learn and grow and develop as much as I could.”
Zabel played a key role in helping the Seahawks take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy last season. He allowed two sacks and 24 total pressures on the year.
Next season will task the Seahawks’ offensive line with protecting Sam Darnold better in the pocket.
Zabel will bear part of that responsibility, and has a year of experience under his belt to look back at to guide him in his progression, not only in lead up to, but also throughout next season.
