The Seattle Seahawks have released their first practice report of the 2026 season. As Seattle gears up to host the New England Patriots in Week 1 to begin their title defense campaign, they may be facing serious health issues in their secondary. Primarily with the safety position.
Second year defensive star Nick Emmanwori, who has been recovering from offseason surgery, was limited on Sunday's practice. Unfortunately, he's not the only Seahawks safety suffering from a lower body bang up. Ty Okada missed Sunday's practice entirely with a hamstring injury. As it stands, Seattle only has three safeties currently on the active 53-man roster. This is exactly why they signed D'Anthony Bell to the practice squad this weekend.
