Jason Myers nailed a 57-yard field goal with 52 seconds left in the first half to cut the Washington Commanders’ lead to four over the Seattle Seahawks.

Rainy, windy conditions made this all the more difficult — but Myers showed off his power to squeak this one through.
After a flukey preseason saw Myers go 2-for-5 on field goals and 2-for-4 on extra points, he’s been automatic through the first five halves of the regular season. After his extra point and field goal today, he’s 6-for-6 on field goals and 4-for-4 on extra points to start 2026.

is a chain-mover extraordinaire, but the offense still needs to stay balanced. The Seahawks have run the ball 12 times for just 25 yards, so they look too one-dimensional with JSN for comfort entering the second half. The Commanders have run 14 times for 39 yards. If either team can separate in that category, both passing attacks have shown the ability to take advantage of lighter coverage. The Commanders lead 17-10 after their kicker, Drew Stevens, answered Myers by nailing a 57-yarder of his own.
