The Clemson Tigers return to the gridiron after their bye week to take on Charleston Southern in Week 7 of the 2026 college football season. A new broadcast crew will be calling the Tigers' game against the Buccaneers.
On Monday, ESPN announced who will have the call of Saturday's game at Clemson's Death Valley. Roxy Bernstein and former Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson will call the action from the broadcast booth at Memorial Stadium. Madison Hock will report from the sidelines.
While Bernstein is a veteran play-by-play broadcaster for ESPN's coverage of college football, basketball and baseball, it's Clawson's first season as a color commentator after transitioning into the role since spending 2025 as a studio analyst for ACC Network. Bernstein previously
worked with analysts such as Michael Bumpus, Tyoka Jackson and others.
Clawson coached at Wake Forest from 2014-24. It's his first time visiting Clemson as an analyst since he resigned as the Demon Deacons' coach following the 2024 season. In his 11 seasons in Winston-Salem, Clawson compiled a 67-69 career record as coach, the highest winning percentage of any coach in Wake Forest history since the school joined the ACC in 1953.
Kickoff for Clemson-Charleston Southern is noon ET. The game can be seen on ACC Network.
Clemson (3-2 overall, 2-1 ACC) is coming off a 41-13 loss to the Miami Hurricanes in Week 5 at Memorial Stadium.
