Clemson basketball will tip off the 2026-27 regular season and the 17th year under coach Brad Brownell, the ACC's longest-tenured active head coach, Monday. The Tigers face the Stetson Hatters from the Atlantic Sun Conference at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Seven players from Clemson's 2025-26 roster return this season, along with four players from the NCAA transfer portal and three incoming freshmen. Of those returning, guard Ace Buckner and big man Carter Welling, who averaged 8.3 and 10.2 points per game a season ago.
Of the Tigers' transfer portal additions, Clemson brought in guard Cole Certa from Notre Dame, as well as forwards Dylan Faulkner (Samford), Liutauras Lelevicius (TCU) and David Fuchs (San Francisco). Faulkner averaged 17.2 points per
game to go with 8.6 rebounds a season ago. Certa and Fuchs averaged 12.8 points per game last season with Fuchs grabbing 7.9 rebounds a night. Lelevicius averaged eight points and 3.4 rebounds.
