Clemson football placekicker Nolan Hauser had a banner night in the Tigers' victory over Georgia Southern in Week 2, a performance that earned him ACC honors Monday.

Hauser was named Specialist of the Week as part of the ACC's players of the week after going 5-for-5 on field goals in the Tigers' 22-7 win over the Eagles.

Hauser connected for a 50-yard field goal and one from 49 yards in the fourth quarter as part of his perfect night. He previously made successful kicks from 20 yards, 34 yards and 38 yards, all in the second quarter as Clemson built a 16-7 lead at halftime.

Hauser finished the night with 16 points total, also converting an extra point attempt on the Tigers' only touchdown of the night after Christopher Vizzina connected with T.J.

Moore for a 10-yard touchdown pass.

His five field goals tied a career-high; the junior from William Amos Hough High School in Cornelius, North Carolina, also made five kicks in the Tigers' 29-13 win at Florida State on Oct. 5, 2024.

Hauser's record-breaking 56-yard field goal as time expired later that year against SMU in the ACC title game sent Clemson to the College Football Playoff.

Clemson will face North Carolina in its ACC opener at Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is noon ET. The game will be televised on ESPN.
