The Clemson Tigers' radio booth will sound a bit different during the 2026 college football season.
Clemson Athletics announced Monday that former Tigers wide receiver Jeff Scott, a longtime assistant on coach Dabo Swinney's staff who was a member of the school's 2016 and 2018 national championship teams, is joining the radio broadcast crew for all seven home games this season.
Scott will also be on the broadcasts for the Tigers' Oct. 31 road game against Florida State at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee and their Nov. 20 game against the Duke Blue Devils at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham.
Scott replaces former Clemson running back Reggie Merriweather, who had been a part of the radio booth as an analyst for many years.
Veteran Clemson play-by-play
announcer Don Munson will return for his 13th season in the Tigers' booth, as will color commentator Tim Bourret, who has served as the school's longtime Sports Information Director.
Another former Clemson football player joins radio broadcast booth
The school also announced Monday that former defensive lineman Ricky Sapp will join the Tigers' pregame show ("The Tiger Tailgate Show"), which begins three hours before kickoff each week.
Sapp played in 47 games at Clemson from 2006-2009 under Swinney and former head coach Tommy Bowden, where he recorded 142 career tackles, 38.5 tackles for loss and 17 sacks in his four seasons. Sapp was a member of the Tigers' strength and conditioning staff from 2021-23.
Swinney's weekly radio coaches show, "Tiger Hour With Dabo Swinney," returns Monday at 8 p.m. ET and will air each Monday at the same time across the Clemson Athletic Network.
The flagship station for Clemson football is WCCP-FM 105.5, and WAHT-FM 97.5.
