Will Clemson football finally get a game in without a weather delay?
It should happen when the Tigers (2-1 overall, 1-0 ACC) visit Berkeley to face the California Golden Bears (2-1, 1-0) in Week 4 of the 2026 college football season on Friday.
Each of the Tigers' first three games have all been impacted by Mother Nature. Their season opener at LSU and their Week 2 home opener against Georgia Southern were both delayed almost two hours.
That paled in comparison to Clemson's matchup against North Carolina last Saturday when the Tigers and Tar Heels headed to their respective locker rooms to wait out a 2-1/2 hour delay thanks to rain and lightning. Clemson rallied for a 28-20 victory once play resumed.
Clemson's next game should go off without a hitch
-- at least from Mother Nature.
According to the National Weather Service in San Francisco Bay/Monterey, smooth sailing is in store for Friday's game in Berkeley.
The forecast calls for a high of 71 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Friday's low is expected to be 53 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET Friday. The game will be televised on ESPN. Mike Monaco and Jordan Rodgers will have the call of Clemson-California. Dana Boyle will report from the sidelines.
