The Clemson Tigers face the Florida State Seminoles in the latest edition of one of the ACC's signature rivalries in Week 9 of the 2026 college football season at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.
It's the second straight year Clemson and Florida State have both underperformed enough to be relegated to second-class status on the ACC's television schedule for their annual showdown.
Dabo Swinney's Tigers will face Mike Norvell's Seminoles at 7 p.m. ET Saturday. The game will be televised on ACC Network, a big change from many of the classic Clemson-FSU battles that aired on ABC in years past.
Clemson (4-3, 2-2 ACC) is coming off a 20-16 loss to the Virginia Tech Hokies at Memorial Stadium. Ethan Grunkemeyer's 5-yard touchdown pass on fourth-and-1
with 1:44 remaining won it for the Hokies.
The Tigers' struggles on offense under Chad Morris continued. Tait Reyolds was 20 of 26 for 153 yards. He rushed for another 63 yards and scored Clemson's only touchdown of the game on a 16-yard scamper in the third quarter. Tom Allen's defense played well, but Clemson was held to 288 yards of total offense.
Florida State (3-4, 1-3) had a bye in Week 8 and is coming off a 43-35 loss to the Miami Hurricanes in double overtime on Oct. 17 at Hard Rock Stadium.
