Clemson football looks to make it back-to-back wins in Week 10 of the 2026 college football season. The Tigers visit the Syracuse Orange at JMA Wireless Dome in New York.
Both Clemson (5-3, 3-2 ACC) and Syracuse (4-4, 2-4) are coming off a win in Week 9. The Tigers went to Tallahassee and defeated rival Florida State, 36-24. Tait Reynolds threw two touchdown passes in the first half, and Nolan Hauser kicked five field goals in the win. Clemson forced four turnovers, including a pair of interceptions by Elliot Washington II and one by Jerome Carter III.
Syracuse stunned previously 19th-ranked SMU on a late touchdown pass by Steve Angeli to tight end Noah Meyers with 17 seconds remaining at JMA Wireless Dome for a 30-27 victory. Clemson and Syracuse are
meeting for the 14th time in school history. The Tigers lead the all-time series, 10-3. The Orange defeated Clemson, 34-21, in the last head-to-head matchup on Sept. 20, 2025 at Clemson's Death Valley.

- CLEMSON 27, SYRACUSE 17: Dabo Swinney said this week that, for as great as Nolan Hauser has been (23 of 24 on field goal attempts), how about turning those five kicks a game into only two? That will require Clemson's offense to find the end zone. Not to read too much into the Tigers' win at Florida State, but I think the Tigers and Tait Reynolds do that just that against the Orange. Syracuse’s QB situation with Steve Angeli ("probable") and backup QB Malachi Nelson (out) may be a factor. We’ve seen countless teams come off a huge win like the Orange had against SMU and be unable to follow it up a week later. The Tigers win this one, and hopefully it’s part of another regular season that's at least salvaged by a Clemson winning streak at the end. --Steve Holley, Clemson Wire.
