Tyler Brown has been one of Clemson’s most versatile weapons this season, but if it weren’t for bad luck, the Tigers’ offense wouldn’t have any luck at all. Brown is now listed as questionable for Saturday’s game at Syracuse.
Brown was listed as questionable on the ACC’s initial availability report Wednesday night. He ranks second on the team with 36 receptions and 332 receiving yards, trailing only Bryant Wesco Jr. in both categories. Clemson has also used him out of the backfield, where he has turned five rushing attempts into 83 yards and a touchdown.
His importance falls in the fact that Clemson has repeatedly gone to Brown when it needs an easy completion or some movement before the snap. He works primarily from the slot and gives Tait Reynolds
an experienced option underneath while Wesco and T.J. Moore operate farther outside.

Freshman Gordon Sellars III is also questionable after missing the past two games with a concussion. If Brown and Sellars are both unavailable, Clemson’s rotation would become extremely thin behind Wesco and Moore. Redshirt freshman Juju Preston is the next healthy wide receiver on the stat sheet with six receptions for 51 yards.
