The Clemson Tigers enter Week 6 of the 2026 college football season 3-2 overall and 2-1 in ACC play after a 41-13 loss to the fourth-ranked Miami Hurricanes at Memorial Stadium.
In the Tigers' loss to the Hurricanes, Clemson's offensive line was badly exposed again. The unit allowed six sacks of freshman quarterback Tait Reynolds and nine tackles for loss.
Despite the pressure, Reynolds had the best game statistically of his young career and completed 29 of his 44 passes for 295 yards. Bryant Wesco Jr. caught nine passes for a game-high 152 yards.
Reynolds turned the ball over on a late 39-yard interception return for touchdown by Miami's JJ Dunnigan's to cap the scoring in a game Clemson trailed only 17-6 until late in the third quarter.
The Tigers
were kept out of the end zone until Gideon Davidson's 2-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Miami held Clemson to 55 net rushing yards after sacks and turned a two-score game into a 28-point margin of victory to remain unbeaten.

The Tigers are one of four ACC teams with a bye in Week 6 of the 2026 college football season. It's the only bye week of the season for Dabo Swinney's team.
No. 4 Miami (5-0), No. 21 SMU (4-1) and Boston College (2-3) are also idle in Week 6.

The Tigers return to action in Week 7 against Charleston Southern at Clemson Memorial Stadium on Oct. 17. Kickoff is noon ET. The game can be seen on ACC Network.
