The Dallas Cowboys returned to the practice field on Wednesday, in preparation for the Indianapolis Colts. A few big names were limited, such as receiver George Pickens and guard Tyler Smith. When the media got their first chance to talk to the players after the Week 8 loss, 'execute' was the word of the day as the team searches for answers after another embarrassing defeat.
A player who used to roam the halls in Frisco is preparing to start but for another team as quarterback Joe Milton was named the starter in Philadelphia. If Milton can gain momentum, Dallas may have to face their former QB on Thanksgiving Day.
As nightmarish as that sounds, head coach Brian Schottenheimer is currently dealing with even more criticism as Pittsburgh head coach Mike
McCarthy and his division leading Steelers are giving fans second thoughts about moving on from the former leading man.
On the trade front, Cowboys receiver George Pickens isn't expected to be traded but TE Luke Schoonmaker has suddenly become a name to watch.
Around the NFL, Arizona wasted no time in moving on from their former starting QB as Jacoby Brissett was reportedly dealt to QB needy Baltimore. Great news from Lions linebacker Jack Campbell as he has regained movement in his lower extremities after a scary collision last week. Also, Packers edge Micah Parsons had his practice window opened as he returns from a torn ACL while the Rams just lost another starting defender.
