Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is projected to be a fantasy football stud in 2026 given his wealth of offensive weapons - but which of his star wide receivers will put up bigger numbers this season?
CeeDee Lamb currently has an average draft position of 9.9 - making him a premium first-round selection in most drafts - while teammate George Pickens has an ADP of 23.6.
According to USA TODAY Sports' Jack McKessy, Pickens may be a steal at that ADP range. In his first season with the Cowboys, Pickens topped 1,400 receiving yards with nine touchdown receptions over 17 games. Lamb, who missed three games, saw his production drop for a second consecutive season, finishing with 1,077 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Jack McKessy has Pickens ranked as the No. 5 fantasy football wide receiver in 2026 - ahead of Vikings star Justin Jefferson.
George Pickens, WR, Dallas Cowboys
The first look at Pickens in a Cowboys uniform and in head coach Brian Schottenheimer's offense was an overwhelming success. Even while competing with fellow star Dallas wideout CeeDee Lamb for targets in all but three games, Pickens racked up 1,429 yards on 93 catches in 2025. His 15.4 average yards per target were easily the most of any pass-catcher (including running backs and tight ends) with more than 75 catches last year.
McKessy ranks Lamb as WR12, sandwiched between Nico Collins and Zay Flowers.
CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Lamb missed three games in 2025, had to compete with Pickens for targets and had multiple games with one catch or fewer. He still finished the season with 75 catches and over 1,000 yards. Given his outstanding production in most of the weeks he was active, Lamb was on pace for a 1,300-yard, 91-catch season if he played in all 17 games. Even with Pickens back for a second season after his own phenomenal 2025 season, Lamb is a worthy fantasy football asset in Brian Schottenheimer and the Cowboys' pass-heavy offense.
USA TODAY Sports Fantasy's latest preseason projections give the edge to Lamb, who is projected for 1,386 yards and 8 touchdowns. Pickens, meanwhile, still looks like a bargain with 1,193 projected yards and 8 touchdowns.
