The Dallas Cowboys took things down to the wire for the second-straight game, and their fanbase may need to get used to rooting for the Cardiac Cowboys. Unlike Week 3 in Brazil against the Ravens, this time the Cowboys were able to emerge victorious against an AFC foe, in-state rivals the Houston Texans.
Dallas scored four touchdowns on five second-half possessions, thanks to an explosive turnaround by the offense and QB Dak Prescott. Though Prescott only threw for one score on the game, his arm engineered the other three drives as well, even as they were capped by Javonte Williams rushing touchdowns. But there was a moment in the game where things could've gone sideways, as astute watchers noticed that Prescott's throwing hand was bleeding.

The broadcast didn't catch it, but it turns out Prescott's hand was stepped on during a second-quarter play. Prescott was called for grounding, setting up a 3rd-and-22 situation. The team called a give-up play, but a defensive penalty allowed Dallas to stay on the field.
Prescott's next two passes were incomplete before they eventually punted.
Prescott went 1-for-6 on his final attempts of the first half after the injury; the only thing working, a short dump off to CeeDee Lamb.
He course corrected in the second half, though, finishing 20-for-25 for 248 passing yards and the game-winning score to CeeDee Lamb.
