This has been a busy week for the Dallas Cowboys organization, as they square off against two other NFL teams and signed one of their top players to a huge contract extension. Pro Bowl defensive tackle Quinnen Williams inked a monster deal that saved the organization $24 million in cap space from his previous contract, with some interesting particulars. The signing works on two fronts for the organization; they lock up their defensive pillar for the future while also allowing more opportunities to make moves if the front office and coaching staff feel they're needed.
After facing the Los Angeles Rams in a joint practice on Tuesday, the team heads north to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks in the exhibition opener on Saturday.
