The Dallas Cowboys will not be full strength for Sunday's battle in Indianapolis; not even close. The team has announced their inactives for Week 9 and several key names are going to be riding the pine and out of uniform.
Wideout George Pickens, cornerback Joey Porter and linebacker DeMarvion Overshown are all ruled out from Sunday's contest. This is Pickens first missed game of his Cowboys' career, playing all 17 contests last year and the first eight of 2026. He's been dealing with a shoulder and hamstring injury the last couple weeks and has seen limited snaps beginning in the second half of the win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Porter, acquired for a 2028 second-round pick, is going to miss his second complete contest since coming over from
Pittsburgh. Dealing with an ankle injury recently, he's missed a ton of action in three of the four games he's actually played in.
Overshown returned two weeks ago before suffering a hamstring injury last week.

Meanwhile, all of the Colts players who might be traded are active for the day. QB Daniel Jones, RB Jonathan Taylor and WR Josh Downs have all been connected to trains out of Indiana, but they'll at least get one last hurrah against the Cowboys defense.
