The Dallas Cowboys have a few positives on offense they can build on after their week one loss to the New York Giants. Despite their slow start, the Cowboys' offense was effective on third down, converting 73% of the time. They were also successful in the red zone, coming out of that game scoring on 56.9% of their chances.
Some of that success can be credited to left tackle Tyler Guyton, who earned an overall ProFootballFocus (PFF) grade of 70.2. What was most impressive about Guyton was his not surrendering a pressure to Brian Burns when matched up against him 20 times. It's a great sign for Dallas as they decide whether to keep or move on from the young tackle.
