The Dallas Cowboys' run-defense issues continued in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders, as Washington rushed for 182 yards. Through two games, Dallas has allowed 347 rushing yards and still hasn't found a way to slow opposing ground attacks. With the Baltimore Ravens coming to town on Sunday, time is running short for defensive coordinator Christian Parker and his staff to figure things out. If not, they could be in for another tough afternoon trying to contain Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
Two players who will play a major role in slowing Baltimore's rushing attack are Kenny Clark and Donovan Ezeiruaku. Both spoke to the media this week and understand the challenge that awaits. Their focus starts with preventing Jackson from hurting
them with his legs, something Dallas has struggled to do against mobile quarterbacks early this season. Staying disciplined, maintaining their assignments, and wrapping up when they get the chance will be key if the Cowboys want to keep Jackson in check.
