The Dallas Cowboys added a new name to their Week 1 practice report on Thursday. Tight end Luke Schoonmaker, a former second-round pick who has been demoted to TE3 behind starter Jake Ferguson and top backup Brevyn Spann-Ford, missed the session.
It was not injury related, however, as Schoonmaker was unavailable due to personal reasons. The fourth-year tight end will be featured in the team's three-TE sets, but his role is limited for now unless there is an injury ahead of him on the depth chart. Outside of Schoonmaker's addition, things remained exactly the same for both Dallas and the New York Giants.
Giants wideout Malik Nabers continued to take all of his reps and was one of five Giants listed on the report as full participants, the same as on Wednesday.
For Dallas, Ajani Cornelius was again limited with a knee issue. DE Jonathan Bullard, who missed all of the preseason and a ton of camp due to a groin injury, was again listed as a full participant on Wednesday.
Here's a look at each player mentioned on the report.
