The Dallas Cowboys will be one of the final teams to kick off on opening weekend; they'll be waiting all day for Sunday night. The Cowboys will once again face their familiar Week 1 foe, the New York Giants to start the 2026 regular season.
This year, the competition will take place at Met Life Stadium in New York, as the team begins their campaign with back-to-back NFC East battles. After finishing last year 7-9-1 and in second place in the disappointing division, Dallas will look to not only fight off challenges from the Giants and Week 2 opponent Washington, but also look to catch the Philadelphia Eagles.
A strong start to the season and an early division road victory would go a long way, and in that vein the Cowboys are favored, with the spread
opening this weekend at Cowboys -3 according to Bet MGM.
The Over/Under for the game is set for 48, meaning a final score median prediction of 25.5 to 22.5. Dallas' Moneyline is set for -160, meaning one would have to bet $160 in order to win $100. The Giants' Moneyline is +130, meaning a $100 bet would return $130 in profit.
The Cowboys and Giants will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday night.
