Golden State defeated the Lakers, 124-98, on Tuesday in a NBA preseason game at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
Former Vol Dalton Knecht played 22 minutes for the Lakers and scored 11 points. He converted 3-of-8 field goal attempts, 1-of-4 three-point attempts and 4-of-4 free throw attempts. Knecht also recorded one rebound and one assist.
Former Vol Cameron Carr also played 12 minutes for Los Angeles. He totaled five points and two steals. Carr converted 1-of-4 field goal attempts, 1-of-3 three-point attempts and 2-of-2 free throw attempts.
Sandro Mamukelashvili led the Lakers in scoring with 15 points, while Golden State rookie Yaxel Lendeborg led all players with 17 points.
The Warriors led for 99% of the game. Golden State's largest
lead was 38 points.
Los Angeles will next play Thursday against Sacramento. Tipoff between the Lakers and Kings is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. EDT at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The NBA preseason matchup will be televised by ESPN2.
