The Giants (1-0) opened their NFL season Sunday with a, 28-20, win against Dallas (0-1) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Sunday marked the first game for New York under head coach John Harbaugh.
Following their Week 1 win, the Giants held tryouts for 10 players on Monday, according to NFL transactions: defensive end Dominic Bailey (Tennessee), running back Ulysses Bentley (Ole Miss), linebacker Jack Dingle (Cincinnati), defensive tackle Jalen Hunt (Cincinnati), running back D'Ernest Johnson (South Florida), running back Phil Mafah (Clemson), defensive tackle Haggai Chisom Ndubuisi (no college), linebacker T.J. Quinn (Louisville), defensive tackle Jay Toia (UCLA) and running back Blake Watson (Memphis).
Mafah signed with New York's
practice squad after his tryout and the Giants waived wide receiver Dalen Cambre on Monday.
Bailey also had a tryout with the Titans on Sept. 11 during Week 1.
He played for the Vols from 2020-25 and appeared in 55 games (25 starts). Bailey recorded 77 tackles, 12.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, one pass deflection, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries during his collegiate career at Tennessee.
He went to Tennessee from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Bailey committed to the Vols over Clemson and Penn State.
