The Rams will kick off their 2026 NFL regular season on Thursday. Los Angeles will face San Francisco at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia.
The season opener is slated for 8:35 p.m. EDT and can be watched on Netflix.
Former Vol and Los Angeles linebacker Byron Young
was listed on the Rams' injury report ahead of their season opener. He was listed as full participation for Wednesday's practice.Young did not participate in Tuesday's practice with the Rams. His injury report status was listed as not injury related - resting player.
He was selected by the Rams in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft (No. 77 overall).
Young played at Tennessee from 2021-22 under head coach Josh Heupel after transferring from Georgia Military College.
The former Vol earned All-SEC honors in 2022.
In 24 games, including 21 starts, Young recorded 83 tackles, 23.5 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks, one interception and two pass deflections.
