Tight end Ethan Davis enters his fourth season at Tennessee in 2026.
The 6-foot-5, 247-pound senior appeared in 24 games, including four starts, for the Vols from 2023-25.
Davis has totaled 36 receptions for 390 yards and four touchdowns in his collegiate career. His longest reception is 40 yards. Davis led the Vols in receiving yards for tight ends (257) last season.
No. 18 Tennessee will kick off its season on Saturday against Furman (1-0). Kickoff between the Vols and Paladins is slated for 3:30 p.m. EDT at Neyland Stadium (SEC Network+).
Ahead of Saturday's season opener, sixth-year head coach Josh Heupel discussed Davis' availability for Week 1.
"He'll be available on Saturday," Heupel said. "Ramped up this past week and looks really good."
2026 Tennessee tight ends on roster
The Vols have six tight ends on roster in 2026.
DaSaahn Brame recorded six receptions for 63 yards in 2025 as a freshman. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound sophomore has appeared in nine games for the Vols.
6-foot-5, 241-pound junior Cole Harrison appeared in five games for Tennessee from 2024-25, totaling one reception for 17 yards.
Senior Trent Thomas transferred to Tennessee from South Alabama and senior Drake Martinez transferred to the Vols from UT Martin after the 2025 season.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Martinez also played at Houston Christian (2024), McNeese State (2023) and Colorado State (2021-22). The 6-foot-5, 254-pound Thomas played at South Alabama from 2023-25 and appeared in 26 games (13 starts).
Freshman Luca Wolf enters his first season at Tennessee. The 6-foot-5, 256-pound tight end enrolled early at Tennessee in January and participated in spring football practices. He is from Vienna, Austria and signed with the Vols from the NFL Academy in London, England.
