Detroit (1-1) and Indianapolis (0-1-1) are playing their final NFL preseason game on Saturday. The Lions lead the Colts, 19-13, at halftime at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Former Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs completed 12-of-14 passing attempts for 110 yards and two touchdowns. His quarterback rating at halftime was 139.0.
Dobbs also had one rushing attempt for zero yards and one fumble in the first half.
Tay Martin and Jackson Meeks scored one receiving touchdown each for the Lions.
Detroit quarterback Luke Altmyer also appeared in the contest, completing 5-of-7 passing attempts for 48 yards and one interception.
Detroit will kick off its 2026 NFL regular season on Sept. 13 versus New Orleans. The season opener is slated for
1 p.m. EDT at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan (Fox).
The NFL 53-man roster deadline is Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. EDT.
