For a second consecutive time, Tennesseemiddle blocker Jolene Oddowas named SEC Freshman of the Week in volleyball.
She totaled 15 kills and seven blocks in two matches last week.
On Sept. 12, she recorded nine kills in a, 25-19, 25-19, 25-17, win over Coastal Carolina at Food City Center. Oddo also totaled three blocks.
Tennessee (6-1) suffered its first loss of the 2026 season on Sept. 9 against Pittsburgh, 25-17, 28-26, 25-20, in a neutral-site match at State Farm Field House in Kissimmee, Florida. Oddo recorded six kills and four blocks against the Panthers.
She leads the Lady Vols in blocks (21) this season. The middle blocker recorded two or more blocks in all seven matches this season. She has also totaled five or more kills in four of Tennessee's
last five matches.
Oddo was named SEC Freshman of the Week on Sept. 8 after leading the Lady Vols to victories over Illinois and Indiana. She recorded a season-high five blocks against the Hoosiers on Sept. 6 at the Broadway Block Party at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
