Tennessee (3-0) ended its opening week of the 2026 volleyball season with two victories Aug. 29 in the Tennessee Tournament at Food City Center.
The Lady Vols defeated Morehead State, 25-16, 25-18, 25-12, and Fairfield, 27-25, 25-23, 25-12.
Against the Eagles, Tennessee had a .352 hitting percentage. Morgan Williams led the Lady Vols' attack with 12 kills. Maggie Dostic recorded 10 kills and two service aces, while Jalyn Stout finished the match with seven kills and three blocks.
Caroline Kerr recorded 21 assists and eight digs for Tennessee, and Raegan Burns also totaled eight digs.
In Tennessee's final match, the Lady Vols had a .307 hitting percentage. Kennedi Rogers recorded a double-double with 21 kills, 10 digs and three blocks. Stout recorded nine
kills, while Jolene Oddo finished with eight kills and two blocks.
Tennessee will next play Tuesday versus Illinois in the Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge. First serve between the Lady Vols and Fighting Illini is slated for 7 p.m. EDT at Food City Center.
