Green Bay kicked off NFL training camp Wednesday. The Packers hosted tryout workouts for 10 players on Thursday, according to NFL transactions.

Former Tennessee tight end McCallan Castles was one of 10 players to tryout with Green Bay.

He was joined by long snapper Cal Adomitis (Pittsburgh), wide receiver Elijhah Badger (Florida), wide receiver Elijah Cooks (San Jose State), long snapper John Ferlmann (Ohio State), tight end Brandon Frazier (Auburn), long snapper Brent Matiscik (TCU), wide receiver Titus Mokiao-Atimalala (UCLA), tight end Briley Moore (Kansas State) and wide receiver Kaden Prather (Maryland).

Castles played at Tennessee in 2023. He appeared in 13 games during his only season with the Vols, recording 22 receptions for 283 yards

and five touchdowns.

Castles transferred to Tennessee from UC Davis ahead of the 2023 campaign. He played at UC Davis from 2021-22, starting 28 contests, and recorded 68 receptions, 928 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns. The former Vol also played at California for two seasons (2018-19).
