Los Angeles opened NBA preseason on Monday. The Lakers defeated Sacramento, 127-103, at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. 15,130 were in attendance.
Two former Vols played for the Lakers in Monday's contest.
Cameron Carr scored 19 points in 23 minutes for Los Angeles. He converted 7-of-13 field goal attempts, 3-of-7 three-point attempts and 2-of-2 free throw attempts. Carr also totaled three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Dalton Knecht also played 12 minutes for the Lakers. He recorded two rebounds and one assist. The former Vol did not convert his only three-point attempt.
Luka Doncic led Los Angeles in scoring with 21 points. He also totaled three assists, two rebounds and two steals.
The Lakers led for 90% of the game. Los Angeles'
largest lead was 33 points.
Los Angeles will next play Tuesday at Golden State. Tipoff between the Lakers and Warriors is scheduled for 10 p.m. EDT at Chase Center in San Francisco, California (NBA TV).
