Tennessee freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon made his collegiate debut in Week 1 of the 2026 college football season.
He was named SEC Freshman of the Week after his performance against Furman.
Brandon totaled five touchdowns in Tennessee's, 56-9, win over the Paladins. He completed 13-of-17 passing attempts for 226 yards and three touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound freshman also recorded 68 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 10 attempts.
The Vols have totaled 52 SEC weekly honors under head coach Josh Heupel since 2021, including 12 SEC Freshman of the Week awards.
